How to add fields ?

I want to add a static field ( like announcement ) in the Front Page how do you do that pls ?

Go to Page Builders->Homepage.  Drag onto the homepage list the HTML BLOCK and put your code into that for your announcement.

ok thanks , do you have any idea how to remove that welcome to the community message ? or how change the color of the template ? or any nice free template hunging around < please and thanks .

to edit the welcome to the community, change the message in the language key _Welcome_to_the_community

As for template, I have not messed around much from basic settings to make a template, trying to work on functionality and other test.

thanks lot , is it possible even to delet that message or that will mess about things ?
