When someone joins a group by pressing the join button, the page reloads.
Can that be avoided?

Of course that can be avoided. Just don't press the join button. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
Lols..Just post in jobs section must need code tweak called AJAX to prevent whole page by reloading. Of course that can be avoided. Just don't press the join button.

haha! Here's an idea, just disable the button, then no one could join..... probably gonna be the case anyway since the site is gonna move at the speed of light.... http://towtalk.net ... Hosted by Zarconia.net! |
Why is the page reload a problem? Is it reloading slowly to the point that someone might think the site is not working? If so, then you might want to rethink your server and not working to change the way the group join button works. Geeks, making the world a better place |

(I never mentioned that ;) It has no sense in reloading the page. Does facebook or any other social network reloads if you follow/join? Also because some of the pages have music, and if it reloads, it restarts the track |
Expertzkris is correct - the best way to have this implemented would be to hire somebody to do it for you. There's no way somebody on the forums will take the time necessary to research into everything and explain how to implement this.
