How to block writing in the shoutbox for guests?

In your admin area, go to Builders>>Pages Blocks>>Homepage, and click on the Shoutbox block.  You should get a popup that allows you to select whether the shoutbox will be visible for guests or not.  I don't personally know of a way to make is visible without allowing them to use it.  :-\

Go to admin -> Settings -> Membership Levels.

In there down at the bottom click the Non Member Link.

When the settings appear, scroll down to find Use Shoutbox. Check it and click the disable button.

That will prevent non-members(Guests) From using the Shoutbox.

Nice- thanks!  Looks like if they happen to try it, they'll probably think it's glitchy... they can enter a message, and when they hit enter it disappears from the input, but nothing happens... no notice or anything.

I know. It should be locked instead or no text input area at all, but, we will just have to add it to the list of other querks.
