How to change the color and size of boxes

As you can see by the attachment....

Can someone please tell me what file I need to change to change the color and size of the boxes that these names sit in?  I would like the boxes to be shorter and I would like the color to be the same as the background.  To do this I need the file and what in the file I would change.

Use firebug in mozilla with cache of css off in Admin. Then then place your mouse pointer over the box and right click. Use firebug to inspect element. That will tell you what CSS is used to effect the size and the color of that particular field. Then look for the CSS under your template in the root file. Base template is the default, but if you have a custom template you may need to change the CSS there. You can also find the color of the background also by using Firebug plugin. That will give you an exact color match. Keep in mind that all items in your template that use the same CSS will be changed. Some may be in areas that you do not want changes. It is a good advice to back up any file you change by copying that file into another file called changed files and renaming it so it does not effect the CSS system.

I do what is asked and it takes me to a gziploader not the file or area to change.  I know what it is called, but I am not getting the file.

Disable cash for css files: tools/cash/settings...

The reason you are seeing the GZIP is because you are still caching your CSS. After you disable the cache and view the files, you should turn cache back on to make site quicker.

Ok that was helpful only now I am getting "inline:201" for the color content.  Was able to change the size still trying to figure out the color.
