How to clone "Events" module

Hi Guys,

i just started using Dolphin Pro. For my website i would need two "Event" modules.

I need the original one - "Events" - and a new clone of it, which i want to call "Courses".

I successfull managed to clone the "blog" module with Bulk Rename Tool and Notepad++, renaming all the files and content and the root htaccess file. Unfortunately, this methon is not working for me with the "Event" module. I can install my clone but when i post an event there, I'll get an "Datebase Query Error" on my main page. The sub menu bar doesn't show me the "+" sign, the "calender" sign and the "share" sign either. Also i found no reference in the htaccess file for the "Event" module.

Does anyone have an idea how to clone that module successfully?

You probably just need to start over as a mistake was made.  Be sure to understand that you need to search on case of words and letters.  such as Events, events EVENTS and make sure to turn on search by case.  I recommend that you search first to see what shows up and that will guide you as to what needs to be replaced and how.  Just don't run search and replace all at once; that will lead to things being changed that shouldn't be.

I tried to change all words case sensitive, and left stuff out (e.g. div.wall-event-..., aEvent, iEvent...) but unfortunately i just can't seem to make it right :(

Database Query Error and no Sub Menu "+" sign, the "calender" sign and the "share" sign.

Do you have any other hints on how i can handle this?

The Event mod is the most tedious to clone because there are some cases where the word "event" should not replaced. For example, there are functions such as onEventDeleted which must remain unchanged. This is just one example.

Why is this?  Can you elaborate a bit?
