How to control what shows on user timeline?

Hi all,

Every time user 'A' changes something on their profile it will show on the timeline as " A edited his profile info. "

Can we control whats shows or not on the timeline from the dashboard? - I can't find anywhere to set that -

Or has to be code modified?

Many thanks

Same question!

Can't seem to do it via modules > timeline > settings.

What version are you using?

I'm using 7.2.1 or 7.3 (in the middle of upgrading my sites).

The problem is, in timeline settings, I can see what's hidden but I can't change anything from there (image attached).

I don't care who changes their avatar or edits their profile 12 times in 3 minutes. Don't want to see either in the timeline.

same here.

No matter what I do in that section it will take in effect.

OK, on the page you show in your screenshot, you click on the ones you want to HIDE; to select multiple items, use the control key and click on the ones you want to hide from the outline.  Then click the save button.

Thank you geek_girl!

I could have gone the rest of my life and never figured that out.

Hey Andrew or Alex: how about adding 1 simple line of instruction on the timeline settings page for slow folks like me.

Yes, I have always felt that section should be checkboxes, check the ones you want to hide.
