How to display sitename on main page

Hello everyone

I typed in my site name and description during install, but  when I ran the install, my site name and description isn't showing on my homepage website. It's just showing the dolphin photo. how do I get it to appear there? when I go to admin>settings>basic settings, it is showing there, but not on my Main page. it's just showing the dolphin photo's.

Upload an image of your sitename or logo in the admin panel. There is no "out of box" way to display a text sitename on the front page other than within the page title that I know of.

Admin Panel -> Settings -> Basic Settings -> Logo
