How to edit breadcrumb to point to .index.php

How does one edit the breadscrumb link "home" to point at example.com/index.php instead of example.com? I run an adult website and I have an adult content notice page, which is in fact .index.html. However, the breadscrumb sends the user back to that page when they click on "home" link. Is there are way around this? Could it be an issue with softaculous?
