The best recommendation we can make is to get with an inexpensive host like terabyte-hosting.com and let them deal with the servers while you learn dolphin.  Perhaps once you learn how to handle Dolphin, then you can begin to tackle learning the servers.  Right now your biting off a huge chunk trying to learn both, and unfortunately there aren't many mouths out there big enough to handle bitin' into Dolphin and servers are the same time.

The time you save paying a host a few dollars a month will for more profitable than the money you save trying to learn both.  (How much is your time worth?  Figure as an amateur you'll spend 4 hours a day on your server and 4 hours a day on dolphin.  How much can you make in those 28 hours a week you'll spend on learning the server?)

you are telling me about the terbye hosting ... what about the following:

http://www.brinkster.com/Hosting/Advanced_Linux.aspx

Its brinkster professioanl package ... I should talk to brinkster team If they can support boonex's Dolphin7.

What you have linked to isn't a bad deal, but I have to wonder what kind of UI they offer. I only see a passing reference to an "Online File Manager".

If you aren't familiar with running a server I would really recommend getting a hosting setup with CPanel. CPanel is very easy to learn & use. It would make installing Dophin fairly painless.

Using a host like tera-byte will give you the added benefit of having hosting support that knows Dolphin inside & out. They also install Dolphin for you - for free - with purchased hosting. If they see this thread, I'm sure they will fill you in better on what they offer.

Another good Dolphin host (IMHO) is http://www.dolphininstalls.com/ - they also install Dolphin for you for free with a hosting purchase. This host is also run by a really nice guy who is readily accessible, as well as very helpful.

A flashy site (like brinkster), doesn't necessarily indicate a good host for Dolphin.

That's just my opinion though.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
