How to reinstall Dolphn Step by step

How do you do it step by step? Like where do I go..is it cpanel....is it in the admin panel.....what directory and folders..

I tried to do a simple domain change and a whole directory was deleted....I thought I had followed directions since they were clear...but obviously something went wrong....

I am very frustrated since it seems like since I reinstalled Dolphin has been giving me nothing but trouble....it was never this hard when I did it the first time.

PLEASE HELP AND THANK YOU!

I have Dolphin 7.0

I tried to change my domain name...and I followed directions...but somehow I deleted a whole directory...and had to start from scratch again

So I am back to square one....and things are not working right...too many problems...so it is easier to start fresh AGAIN!!!

BUT!!!! I go back to my previous ticket to look at the advice was given...I am NOT placing blame..I could have done something wrong...the only advice I was given is that I need to learn the paths yadda yadda.....YEAH I KNOW I need to learn...thats why I am asking for step by step help.... I feel insulted...

After I did a reinstall Dolphin is funky....it'll talk too much time to wait for my questioned to be answered in the forums....I am on a deadline for a conference....my whole site was complete until I did the domain change so I am under a lot of stress right now.

I want to do a reinstall again....much quicker

PLEASE I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!

1 get the new domain on your server.

2. your host can change your domain name from the control panel or httpd

3. so domain is propogated and changed on your hosting account

4. edit the header.inc.php file where it has your previous domain name (the username should not change if you are on cpanel) /home/yourname/public_html

5. login to ftp or file manager on cPanel if you have it, and open the cache directory, on the menu item, you will see a select all option, do the select all, and then hold down ctrl and left click on the file named .htaccess. if on ftp ctrl+a to select all, then ctrl+left-click to deselect the file named .htaccess

But my new domain is fine...its just my site is acting funny..It first started to not save any changes..then the menu items began to look funny....and yes I am clearing all caches!! I just want to start over again.  My webpage:   reconverge.org
