How to restore backup of profile table

Hi,

I've backup profile table in 7.3 dolphin version

• Is it safe to restore it into dolphin 7.3.3?
• How can i do it? i can see "database restore" only.

Hi,

in the: ...... /administration/db.php you have two options see at the right top corner, one is "Tables Backup Tools" and the other is Database Backup Tools.

So if you made backup of a DB table for profiles.sql and you stored it on server than you should go to the part saying: "DATABASE RESTORE" and select or upload your backup of profile.sql table.

thanks but i need to know if it ok also from the look of structure, if dolphin 7.3 identical to 7.3.3 in the structure to be sure before i upload..

for the table profile.sql there were no changes between ver. 7.3 and 7.3.3.

But do the backup first!!! and then do the restore so you will be on safe site anyway.

It should not be any problem to update your profiles table from the "Tables Backup Tools", no changes in profiles table db structure from v.7.3 to 7.3.3, but it would probably be wise to download a backup copy of your current profiles table before you try to restore, just in case... good luck!
