How to set blocks in particular order on a page?

Hi All,
1) How to arrange 6 blocks on a page as 3 per row, total two rows, considering all with diff width?
2) Is 'ColWidth' in  table 'sys_page_compose' useful and in general what is the roll of  column 'DesignBox'?
Any idea?

Hello!

Plz specify in p1 - all block should have different width?

2) Yes, it's useful but it contain percent values of general width. For example if block has 66 then it means that it will have width like (int)0,66 * 960px (default value of site's width).

Roll of Designbox - plz specify too.

Thanks LeonidS for reply!

1) Say, block1 has width 40% , block2 has width 20% and block3 has width 20%.

Also block4 has width 20% , block5 has width 20% and block6 has width 40%.

different width is for if their total exceeds 100% blocks get shifted to next row, I want to assure particular block stays in particular row.

Also getting blocks in two rows!

2) 'DesignBox' column in table 'sys_page_compose', whats the effect on blocks or how to use it, what property it controls (By default it is set 1, what if I change this value) . Is it helpful for p1

Hope this help!

Hello!

1) No, in current D7 it can't be done - width of column will be fit for most wide block.

2) This number shows which design box template file will be used as maintenance - so if u set 2, then system will use file templates/base/designbox_2.html (if tmpl_uni or ur hasn't such file).
