How to upgrade the license code?

Hi, I bought a Permanent license but my dolphin website was already registered with a free license. I can't see any links in the Admin panel to change the code.

Do I need to reinstall dolphin?

Thanks for helping

Regards

Martin

Go into your administration panel. Advanced Settings> Variables> Dolphin License Code. Just replace the free code w/ the new code.

And don't delete the old code from your account here, comes in handy when you run into probs and have to run a separate test installation.

That procedure will not work. Most of the time the new licence will not properly register if it is just replaced in the admin panel.

Do this instead.

Advanced Settings> Variables> Dolphin License Code and remove the current code.

Log out of your site.

Then log back in using the back door. http://www.yoursite.com/administration/

You will be prompted there for your licence key.

What deano said is 100% true. I had replaced the free license with permanent license but it was not working. I was confused. When I did according to what deano92964 guided, I succeeded. One query I have

You should ask those questions in a new topic, or at least one remotely related.
