Admin-->Modules-->Orca Forum-->Manage Forum-->Compile Lang.
Search the forums here for help, as this has been discussed before. |

Did you fix it? If not just let me know and I can guide you to resolve it.
Follow the instructions of rhimpr that will work well.

the first and foremost solution would be to search the forums with relative terms to what your situation is.
orca requires the language to be compiled. being that you are using a custom template, you most likely do not have the language compiled for that language that you are using. the brackets are indicators that the language has not been compiled.

thank you all,
rhimpr @ I tried this and recompile the language but nothing changed....
Megarick @ walekoomSallam, no still...I am trying to figure it out why this happened...before was okay.
DosDawg@ I'll try again after clearing the cache and I'll get back....
thanks again

If you have tried to compile and it has failed, go through your folder permissions again and make sure they are correct. http://towtalk.net ... Hosted by Zarconia.net! |
You said that is was working well before, so what have you done before this issue?

I just find the solution to my problem and has been solved....
the solution can be found in this link: http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/-L-Forums-orca-forums-language-compile-problem.htm#topic/-L-Forums-orca-forums-language-compile-problem.htm / just look for deano92964 post...
I just delete the costume template from forum/layout for both en and the language I translated.
then change the template to UNI from admin...goto forum/manage and recompile the translated language.
next, make a copy of UNI and rename to your_templatename_en and copy UNI_yourlang in my case UNI_ar and rename it to your_templatename_ar
(opt) last step, edit params.php file in each copied folder and replace the 3 occurrences to your_templatename
thanks all.... this is the fix

You can try this;
Login in your FTP
and check it:
/modules/boonex/forum/integrations/base/langs
/modules/boonex/forum/install/langs
You will find en.php ("en" is for English) inside each of these folder. Is there one file for your language there? |
Oh! Ok...
Glad to know you fixed it. |
