I still get NO SOUND on video comments

the picture is there (not great quality.. but there is no sound at all...

I have tried my best.. the video player works with sound.

the mp3s all have sound

it's just this confounded video comment feature on profiles that refuses to have sound on it.

I have the same issue.

And I have tried three plus installs of dolphin and ray.

I even asked Boonex to do an install for me, and its still not working.

Need answer to the above as well?

1) sounds/photo/music upload-viewing, board drawing/saving, and audio/video chat are all working... but the "Add sound using record" and "record video comment" functions are NOT working!

a) Under "Add Sounds using record, the error says "Connection Error. Click OK to reconnect"

b) In profile "record video comments" the record (red) button is 'gray' or showing but not clickable. Same with play and post buttons.

I have RMS-JRE installed and using v7 in php5, linux-apache server under dedicated server. Thanks!

I think this is an issue with the new version of RMS.

Can anyone confirm that sound recordings are working for there site?

My recorded videos do not have sound, but my recorded sound files do have sound.  Uploaded videos and sounds both work correctly after processed. It just seems to be my video comments etc. that are lacking.

To be fair, it dose say 'video comments' not 'Audio & Video comments'

LOL.  That is NOT fair.  It's to be assumed that audio is going to work with video.  I don't know of any site that only does video and not audio.  That's funny, but joking aside,   I am having this problem too.  I hate that there doesn't seem to be a fix or any concern to fix it.

Is there any user who actually does have this working?

I'm in the same boat. Video and music sounds work, but video comments audio does not. Sucks now people can not make a video profile on site, which is one of the nice features they want. And the video is so slow.

But,  still can't get sound on the video comments.  I can see myself just fine, but there is no sound at all.  Anyone else having any luck fixing this issue?

Okay all I think I have found the voice recording issues. I had no voice in webcam and no voice in comments or video profile. But I tried it with my headset and it records voice. It seems that this software does not like the recorder in my logitech webcam. So try a standalone mic or headset and see if this helps you.

When I find a stand alone mic I will give it a try.

But even if that works, it is 100% unacceptable.

Most people will want to use the mic that is built into their web cam.

Yes I understand, but this will hold them over tell they get the bugs out. Worth a shot, or you can stay in the dark..lol
