IBDW Spywall customization

Hi, 

I must say, the spywall is nice looking however I'm really disappointed that the developers didn't make so a site can use membership levels to restrict the actions.  It is only useful for a completely free site.

I'm looking for someone that can provide some customization to add restrictions to the actions the membership level has. Mainly posting of comments and to the wall.

Please send me a message if you believe you can do this and how much you will charge for this customization.

The best people to do this would be IDBW themselves (the SpyWall developers) as a lot of the code is encrypted.

I did originally but I feel their quote to be too high after what I had already spent. Not to mention I feel they really dropped the ball not including this functionality with core dolphin features to begin with. Or at least stating on their product that it does not follow rules set in membership levels. Explaining that to them seems to get lost in translation and they say it is only meant for friends.

The don't think their code is "encrypted", it just mostly in italian... which kinda sucks cause usually I can make my way through most things... if they're in english...

I'll probably be better off waiting for 7.1, which looks like then I can just drop the ibdw stuff anyway.

I haven't played with page access control much, but from what I understand it will do what you want to do. Go to administration>modules>page access control>page block access and select from the drop down menu: homepage/dashboard/profile or whatever page(s) you have the wall on and select the page block for your wall. All of your active membership levels are there.

yeah that's not the part I'm concerned about. I want ALL members to be able to SEE the wall. What I want is control over who is allowed A) to post to the wall , B) comment on posts seen in the wall feed and C) apply limits to how many video's one may view.

All these actions are within the membership actions, just spywall doen't care about them...

Anyone capable of this?
