 Hi People!, We are new on D7 and will upload several sites in the next days but we consider not good to have the database of profiles just empty. We would like to have just a few photos and real profiles for the sites to be more attractives to them Can you point some companies or services that can offer it so we can have the database initially populated ? or how the D7 sites owners deal with it.? You are better to generate your own profiles, get a few of your friends to join first, dont let none members see that you don't have many profiles yet (hide stats block) for non members just show featured members block that has your friends profiles in. and get some good content on your site, post daily articles and site news, that way people will see that your website is active. If you have set the forums up, have discussions in the forums with your friends about topics that will suit the visitors that you want to draw in, they will then join to have their say. Dave... |
