Insert a block on another site

I want to change the view of some sites, here: video categories:

I want to put the block (for example) all albums, all videos  into this site. Then I have on the right site the albums, on the left site thelisting of  categories form the videos.

Can somebodey tell and explain to me, where and who I can do this??

At least this must change over the admin panel, Pagebuilder

Your question is very vague... what site; are you speaking of a page on your Dolphin site?

Admin>Builders>Page Blocks  find the page your wanting to edit, drag the boxes where you want them.

If that, there is no problem. For example: Admin>Builders>Page Blocks look at the side Videos Home: there are some blocks in and some blocks to drag them in because there are inactive. To put them to active is very simple. First what I mean is, to build or insert an new block for this side or to take another block (for example from view Video) to this side.

Second for me, its nice and more important, to put some blocks into the side Video Rating (its not listed!) like Video Album or Videos.

your limited on what to put here, BUT I think Deano offers a mod for this, maybe Private Message him..

Yes. My Block Tools mod allows you to copy blocks from one page to another. But there are limitations. Only blocks of type PHP,HTML or RSS can be copied. Any SPECIAL block type in almost all cases are specific to the page it is on and will not function on other pages. Also Blocks can only be copied to and from pages that are listed in pagebuilder.

Throughout Dolphin there are around 297 block on all pages combined. Of which only 43 can be copied to other pages and still work.

I believe you looking to copy one of the blocks from the video home page. However, none of those blocks can be copied to other pages.

That´s the problem:

The site video>caregories is NOT listed in the page builder; therefore its not possible to put some blocks to this site, also with your tool its not possible.

Does anybody know how to change the code to do this?? and where to do this??

I will not be able to help with this one. The videos module is one of the most complex modules dolphin has.

I can't even figure out how and where the video category page is generated let alone try to add something to it.

You will need someone with way more experience with dolphin then i have to figure this one out.

It might be easier. I will have to look into it. It may take some time.

Your use of the word site instead of page keeps confusing me. Translation issue as i am guessing english is not your native language.

Site is the website as a whole. The entire site.

One page of a website is refered to as a page.

But i will look into it and see if i can find a way to do that.
