Install Bug?

I've upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0 but get the following error after running install script:

1 You have manually removed BoonEx footers without paying for the right to. Please, go to BoonEx.com and order the ad free licenses to be able to use your site without BoonEx footers. They will be automatically removed as soon as you register your ad free licenses. Please, put the __boonex_footers__ key back into Dolphin template.

I haven't changed anything to the _footer.html file and when I check it i do see the _boonex_footers_ before the inclusion of the base footer.

Anyone else having this problem? how did you solf?

Thanks :)

You didn't by chance upgrade by changing the files, did you? Or did you run the migration module?

You are suppose to install Dolphin 7 into a separate directory, and after doing so, install the migration module from the administration panel and migrate your Dolphin 6.1 web site content over. Due to changes in the script, only Dolphin 6.1.6 works properly with the module. Due to the immense amount of changes, it is not possible to do a direct upgrade.

Unless you are able to somehow revert the file upgrades, I would suggest you restore your web site from your latest backup and upgrade the proper way, by following one of the following documents corresponding to your version: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolUpgrade.

It should be noted that if you are not using Dolphin 6.1.6, you will need to upgrade to the necessary version, which may include an untold number of patches that need to be applied.

Dolphin 7 was released as a standalone solution, with the option to migrate data from Dolphin 6.1 through the use of an included module. All you need to do is download the latest release from this web site and run an normal installation like you would with any other release.

The problem is, that is what I have done.  I've ran the install scripts from scratch several times and once i remove the install scripts I am recieving that error.  It's frustrating because when i go to the file that i would have manually "modified" it includes the _boonex_footer_ as required.  Everything else on install is a success but this last part...any one have any ideas?

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
