Install won't finish

As I was installing following the questions through their steps I got to "Permissions Reversal" I did my Permissions Reversal and hit  <NEXT>  and nothing happens, the browser just sits and spins it's little circle thing until I get a "TimeOut" error. I've tried it several times and the same thing over and over.

Any ideas?

Thanks

My guess there is some sort of error during install.  Possible to much memory/cpu usage during install.

Try one more time this time click on skip on permissions its okay for now you can change them later.

If you like i can give you hand with it if you still can not get it going.

I tried  again and and skipped the "change permissions" part and once again it just sits there and times out when I hit skip. Also I have 8 gigs of memory and 4 cpu, 3.2gig processor that is using about 2% total processor while I am doing this so I don't think it's that. I'm stumped. All the permissions are correct as far as I know. It would help if the wiki on this site didn't give a 502 error.  Thanks for your reply.

One possible area might be the php settings for execution time of scripts.  Dolphin Jay will be able to help.

try these 2 things first

1. Re-upload the whole install folder
OR
2. Try switching mysql host address to/from "127.0.0.1" or "localhost"

so much to do....
