Installation Stalling Out At Database

I need help! I have the dolphin installed up to the point of the install wizard. Now, I can get to the database page and input all the information needed and click next and the next page is blank. I am confused. On the page that checks permissions, everything is green and what it is suppose to be. On the next page that checks the paths, everything is found. I have created a database and given the user all the privilege that are required.

Why does it go to a blank page is what I am trying to find out.

I found the answer to what was stalling out the installation. It was that the mysqlsock50.xxx had to be located. Once I located the socket and changed the port to 3306. The app was able to find the database and complete the install.
