Installation problems : folder "local" not exist

Hi, I have this installation problem :

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/bin/php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/mysite.fr/httpdocs:/tmp) in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.fr/httpdocs/install/index.php(1630) : runtime-created function on line 2

etc...

And my host said :

This way is bad : /usr/local/bin/php

The right is : /usr/bin/php

Which solution ? I'm surprised because I have installed more than 10 different CMS without any problem with this configuration...
