Installing Flash apps: Permissions

Newbie alert:

When I try to install Flash apps, the permissions for most of the xml files are 777 by default, and a red message tells me they need to be 666. How do I change them?

Thanks in advance.

hraider,

There are two most common ways, depending on your comfort level. The first way is via an FTP program. I use Filezille and you right click on the file and change permissions.

The other way is to login to your CPanel or host provider's equilviant and go to file manager and select the file then click on Permissions at the top of the page.

Hope this helps,

Damion
