Instant messenger and Desktop App ????

Ok, now i just try the desktop messenger app on my website... it's very cool... BUT there is a big problem.... when a user only be online with the App... it show online on the website... but what if a member try to send him a instant simple messenger message.... the user who is online only with the App dont see the message... so this could create some bad situation... user will think that the other member just ignore him... but its not the case... he simply cant see the message into the App.... user only see message if its send by private chat windows or mail message send... but what about the simple messenger????? this should be fixed....

also when it will be possible to put some popup windows like msn messenger with the Desktop App... to inform by example when a new friend is connected... when receive a new message... etc... like msn did.... because for now you always have to let the windows of the desktop app open... if you want to stay inform you cant just minimize it into the tray like you can do it with msn...

I have read this but dont have the answer, I will test this on my site later today and talk to some programmers i know and see what they come up with

ok cool! :) and also.. when a user want to start a private chat popup with a member who is online with the desktop app... the member using the desktop app see the invitation... but when he click on Accept... nothing happen...

I have also the same problem.

When a user want to start a chat with a member who is online with the desktop app...  but when he click to chat... nothing happen... it open another box window and it display the home page..

There will be some fixes with the desktop app with 7.0.1.  I put in a bug ticket a while back and it was fixed.

well i see 2 ticket about the desktop in the 7.0.1 trac... but either talk about the bug im talking about in this forum...
