Internal server error

Hello everyone,

I've been testing 7.2 on a testing subdomain and I realized there is a problem when trying to upload photos, or videos, I also see the Emotions don't display on the Shoutbox. I keep getting an internal server error. Any idea where is this issue coming from? Thanking you in advance

Internal Server Error usually means an issue with the .htaccess file. Make sure there are no odd entries in there. Also check the error_log for errors. If this is a shared server, you may need to have your host check the main Apache log, which sometimes logs internal server errors there.

How did you install Dolphin? Was it via Softaculous?

Hello Nathan,

Apparently the php module: fileinfo wasn't installed on my server, but now everything is working properly. Still have a small issue with the Emojis on the Shoutbox, for some reason they are not displaying. Any idea what could be causing this to happen? Thanking you in advance.

Regards,

Manuel

What browser are you using? Can you post a link to your site?

I've tried in all three browsers, Chrome, IE, and MF. They are not working on any of those. I appreciate any help.

Hello olw,

Yes, by doing that everything got fixed. You can contact your hosting provider and let them know that you need this module installed and they will do it for you. Hopefully this work for you, too.

Regards,

Manuel
