 i`m having a big problem with this i have alot of members that use the Ipad or iphone they cant not upload images to the site even when they try regaler it doesnt let them and i test it on the iphone 4 and the same think can anyone help me and let me know how i can fix it or if anyone know a good app that people can use to use my site ? please anyone :(

Danny it is not your site it is almost all sites that are blocked to be able to upload from an Ipad or Iphone. Dolphin has a better than average mobile ap that would allow your members to do what you request like uploading pictures directly from an Iphone or ipad. I have both an Ipad and Iphone 4S. One of the first disappointments an owner has is the inability to upload things directly from either or to see the upload buttons ghosted on a site. I called apple the first time that happend YEARS ago and was informed you will need an AP to be able to do that. The picture is on my phone and I just want to upload it to a site that I clearly see in my browser... Yes I understand and you can't without an AP... Csampson |
The "i" devices have a "locked" OS. Which means you cannot browse the file system to find a file. So you cannot directly upload into any web site not just dolphin. However, the MAC OS X operating system works fine with dolphin 7.09 as I test it regularly with my mac mini. I currently use UBUNTU on 2 notebooks with firefox and chrome and have no difficulties. Anyone that accesses my site with IE tho, has an ugly banner that says they are using an out of date and un supported browser with link backs to Safari,Chrome,Firefox and I think even opera. http://www.mytikibar.com |
