Is there a way to increase font sizes universally?

Hi all. We're working on a .ORG project with tons of freebies for everyone, regardless of age, sex, religion, etc. This obviously includes seniors and anyone else with vision problems. Well, most of the fonts in D7 are set up for people with decent vision. When I had my mom (she's in her late 60s) check out the site and one of the profiles, she complained over and over that it was very difficult to read a lot of the text in several places. My brother who's in his 30s has sight problems too, not as bad as my moms, be he too felt that it would be much more pleasant on the eyes if the font size was a bit larger.

Granted most browsers can be zoomed manually to show everything larger, but even that is not convenient for everyone, particularily not for seniors who own their first computer or for internet newbies (yes, they do exist). Surprised So the question ... is there some universal way in any of the D7 files to change a font size across the board for everything? Basically like a built in zoom function, and if so, how? Thanks.

I havent found anything like that but you can change the Main font used then have to make a few more changes thru out the site for different fonts

the main font for the body of your pages can be changed in common css.
