Is this an attack?

Keep getting this report being emailed to me, is it something I should be concerned about?

ALERT - configured request variable name length limit exceeded - dropped variable '/public_html/mysite/subscribers/actions/update_cb_stats_php' (attacker 'REMOTE_ADDR not set', file 'unknown')
{"uploads":"0","processing":"0","active":"0","views":null,"comments":null}

just when I saw the 'attacker' in the description it sets off alarm bells!

Its a cron report and gets sent about 60 times in the space of a few minutes.

followed by this one.
