Is this possible?

what i would like to be able to do is to add a new section to the members edit profile section, (this section will be to allow members to add details about a subdomain that i have created for them.

1st. a title for this section (the same as General Info & Misc Info both have)

2nd. i need an input box (the same as username, email etc) where they can enter their chosen subdomain, beside the input box (on the right) would be the text .mydomain.com

3rd. to be able to upload an image that would auto-resize to to fit a new box* (*see below)

The end result i need would be a new box appearing on a members profile with the image they uploaded inside the box, & when you click on the image it would take you to the subdomain that they chose,

as i said in the title i would like to know if anyone thinks this is possible & if very complicated, any suggestions as to who might be able to do it for me, for a price of course

i have a similar scenario in which there are 2 user types. both users have the standard edit profile section, but the second user type has an added form on the side for information specific to that user type. So the answer to your question is "Yes". Everything except the uploading of an image is really simple if you know php. If you want, I can help you setup the simple things, but sopmeone would have to step in and assist with the image uploading.

can't you just use the "Sites" module? That does all you want.

the members have a "My Sites" box too.

thanks for the advice, i just had a look at the sites section on the boonex demo, it could be the answer, i would just have to get rid of some of the functions and edit the url section, got to be worth a try,

many thanks, that's twice you've saved me money now Newton, i'm keeping count :)
