Issues With Videos & Chat

It's been a long time since I've been here on Boonex; but in coming back to Dolphin after 2 years or so I've noticed a lot of issues in 7, that weren't pressent at all in 6...

Videos:

Yes- the darn things aren't loading; but there's not even an error message given when they don't upload properly.  Also it doesn't say what the error is- file type/size/etc...

Looking into the admin pannel it says that WMV, FLV & others are accepted video formats; but there's nothing in terms of size (that I can see), no failed video logs, or pending vids- so I'm not exactly sure what's wrong here???

I've read the many posts on hhow to fix this (777 should read 775) but I'm not familiar enough with scripting to look into this myself.   Obviously I need some help- lol

But does anyone know if there's a maximum file size for video uploads on member profiles?

What that file size is and if it can be changed?

Chat:

I'm trying to test the audio and video chat for my new site and this too isn't working right.

Going into tools/advance- within the chat room, I can choose to broadcast my audio/video; but then nothing happens...

Is there a paticular reason for this?

Would it be linked to the same issue as the video uploads on profiles, or is it something different?

A fix for this issue???

Last Question:

Will the CCBill Module I bought for my last site (dolphin 6) work on the new site (dolphin 7) or do I need to purchase a new module now?

Thanks for your input here

Pam

Im going to give a few quick references on where you can look to try and resolve your issues.

Videos:

Is your Cron job setup corrrectly? Is ffmpeg.exe set to 755 or 777 (you can do this through FTP or the cPanel)

Chat:

To use Audio/Video with Chat, you must have RMS enabled. If you have shared hosting, contact your provider. If you have a dedicated server, you will need to install RMS and configure it.

CCBill;

I doubt very seriously that your D6 module will work with D7. There has been major changes since then.

Nothing to see here
