Issues with Payment Module

So after many, many years of using Dolphin, I have finally decided to try charging for membership levels.  This is mostly a response to the hundreds of thousands of spam messages I was receiving in my blogs, forums, groups, and events.

Questions:

1.  If a member purchases an upgraded membership, do they receive it automatically or do I have to manually process their order in Payment Administration?

2.  Does pending orders mean they added membership to cart but didn't pay for it?

3.  According to Paypal, I have already sold memberships, but they do not show up in Processed Orders.  Why not?  Should they?

4.  Why does it say (365 days days) when viewing available membership types?  It says days twice!
