Javascript code won't save in HTML block

I am adding javascript to an html block in /admin section and click save and nothing happens.

javascript not allowed in dolphin, there central XSS protection. But you will can add it in template's file

There was a fix for this issue with javascript that HoustonLively posted in the forums - but it only worked for 7.0.0 - and will not work now in 7.0.1

So if you are like me and want to add something like google adsense code - you can't until we figure it out. Hoping someone does shortly before I stop using dolphin altogether. I'm getting tired of excuses for one thing after another.
