When i tested, the join buttons work, but the button at the bottom of the join form itself does not. So i think that is what he means.

 ah, so the join now button on the join form?

 yeah guess it would help with a better description.

Deano, do you know if this problem persists on UNI?

It does not work in the UNI template either.

Also apparently another problem. When trying to switch templates on the url like so.

http://www.bandzoo.com/index.php?skin=uni i get the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bx_encode_url_params() in /home/bandzoo/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolPermalinks.php on line 111

I managed to get it to switch to the UNI template by accident when i mistyped the url and added a - before the = like so. http://www.bandzoo.com/index.php?skin-=uni

So there are apparently some other abnormalities with the site.

I have a fealing this is a upgrade from a previous version and some of the files in the inc folder did not get over written with the new version. That bx_encode_url_params() error leads me to suspect a faulty upgrade.

yeah i can see where you would gather that type of analysis from since you are finding the abnormal behaviors. i think what happens in some cases is that when inc is set to 555, and an upgrade is ran, i have seen on some occassions where that folder was not being written to on the upgrade,and this kinda falls in line with what you are saying.

Sorry about my poor description but you guys are awesome and figured it out now the solution is there a way to back up all the settings and custom profile field i put on the site and start from a clean install rather than an upgrade? Now that i think about it that's when everything started when i upgraded!! Or what do you recommend i do to fix this issue? Thank you guys for all your help!!!

On a clean install you are better off re-creating the fields and settings, this way you can track any new issues that arise a little easier as you are adding fields and/or changing settings/.   If you have a backup before upgrade or issues appeared, i would revert back to that and upgrade again following all instructions.  You could also try replacing your INC (rename or backup existing INC folder first)  folder with the version you upgraded to and see if that helps.  I also see this error when join button is clicked;

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bx_is_ip_blocked() in /home/bandzoo/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolProfileFields.php on line 458
