Did you recently move any of the questions on or off of the join form? Sometimes this happens if you move a question that was marked as "mandatory" off of the form. It can't show the error because the question isn't there anymore.

 When dolphin was installed you were asked for a email address to send bug reports to. You need to check that email for the full error. The words Database Query Error is pretty much useless and tells us nothing. We need the actuall error which should have been sent to you by email.

You should have at least edited it to remove the password.

Right at the bottom. Tells you what is wrong.

Mysql error: Unknown column 'State' in 'field list'

You aparently have a field called State in your join form, but the field State is missing from the database in the Profiles table. You need to recreate it.

when i click on blog or group or any of the modules, it shows error message : e.g

Not Found

The requested URL /m/news/index/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

this shows the modules should be under /public_html, but they are in the modules folder.

why is this?

If you search the forum you'll find a million people who had the same problem and then the solution..

http://www.boonex.com/forums/?action=goto&search=1#action=goto&search_result=1&not%20found&tlts&0&&topics

Also, why would you post your problem on a thread that has nothing to do with it?

This is not your personal support topic.  Please make a new topic for unrelated problems.  With that said, you need to make sure of the following:

  1. There is a .htaccess file in the root directory of the installation
  2. mod_rewrite (or equivalent) is enabled for Apache/other web server
  3. AllorOverride is set to All in the Apache configuration file (for VPS and dedicated)

If you uploaded Dolphin via FTP, you may have missed the .htaccess file.
