Join button not working

Does anyone know why the join button doesn't work when I either rename the join.php file or move it to another location. I've had a look at the join.php script and there is nothing obvious to me why. The normal join.php works fine if the name stays as it is and if it stays where it is :)

This may seem a weird question but it has important implications for me.

I'm bumping my question as I really do need a solution. It's important for me to know how I can move the join.php file to another location (in a folder) or just change its name so that it will work as normal.

Any ideas?

If you rename the join.php file then obviously the link won't work. It will affect the promo image click as well. And most likley will affect other things. It like you adding a website to your favorites, then the person who put up the site decides to change the domain name. Then your bookmark no longer works.

If your not willing to go through the code to find all the areas that link to join.php and change it, then you will have to wait for someone to take the needed time to find it all for you. As i am sure no one has ever had a need to do this.
