Join page - Avatar cropping tool

Is there a way I can add the Avatar cropping mod to the join page and make it mandatory?

That would also be quite difficult.

Here is what would have to happen. The photo browse button would have to be changed to upload the photo right away and then passed to the cropping tool.

It would have to be a multi stage process that will be difficult to impliment.

I have decent PHP skills, but even i would not attempt to try it. Dolphins code is way to complex.
