Joined Groups and Events

I've searched high and low to find a solution to this problem as well.  How, if at all, can I have members see their joined groups and events.  Currently it seems as if only the event creator can see these things.  If there is no way to accomplish this, I would say this is a necessary update.  I have also noticed that there is no way to unjoin a group or event after joining.  Anybody have any insight?
