You cannot just import users from joomla.

You can do it in a alternate way. For this the dolphin should be a fresh install. Also some modifications has to be applied to dolphin. You can contact me for this.

Praveenkv1988:

I am interested in finding out what you would charge to prepare the database transfer protocol and make the necessary modifications to integrate Dolphin with Joomla (or Joomla with Dolphin).  I have over 4,000 users that I would like to transfer to and sync with Dolphin.  My thought is to continue using Joomla for dynamic presentation of news, and use Dolphin for my site's community (blogs, videos, etc).  As new users sign up through Joomla, they would automatically be synced with Dolphin and given a profile.

Please contact me at your earliest opportunity.

Thanks.

In less than 30 sec, I was able to safely import over 5000 users on my Joomla site into my   Dolphin 7 site. i also imported over 2000 users on my phpBB3 site into my Dolphin 7 site using the same process and then Sychronized (updated) over 9000+ users now on Dolphin 7 into all my sites at once.  How?

I  downloaded and installed the free Joomla Component module (jfusion) www.jfusion.org. I installed the Jfusion component inside Joomla  and the got the Jfusion component for Dolphin 7 from www.dolphindesigns.info and installed it inside Joomla. I clicked on the Master icon in Jfusion  to set Dolphin as Master and then scrolled to the User Synchronization page and selected 'import users into Master'. I waited for a few seconds and then the user sync was completed and a full report of users sync was displayed on the screen. It works like a charm. I couldn't believe I could do it so easily by myself without hiring a programmer.

I didn't believe it would work at first until a friend who recently used it asked me check it out and save myself a lot of time / cost
he showed me a snapshot of  jfusion configuration before i finally decided to check it out.
