KVM over IP How good is it?

Talking with another, they mentioned this and asked if I know anything about it.  I don't, but after looking at it real quick it looks like it could be a very userful tool.  Has anyone used or had any experience with a KVM over IP while working on a server?

The above link discusses it a little.

Nice. But I think this is geared more towards "Multi-Server" instances. When I did most server work, for instance with Coca-Cola, it was more feasible to manager 12 servers per rack via KVM. Of course it was local KVM and not OIP. For someone who provided webhosting, this would be awesome, but I think for someone running a Dolphin site, would totally exceed the $$$$ factor.

Very cool though indeed.

So then this is for multi-server management thing, not for those who have one server.

Oh no, I would not think this would be for someone who has just one server. Looking at their client list, (CBS, Symantec, Fox, Verizon, etc.) I would assume more of a datacenter type of service. However, if you got the cash... hehe, it is a cool feature.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
