Language switcher in IE7 and IE8 bug of Microsoft

Again and again. Both language selectors - in Main menu and under - in D7 status bar.

In most IE versions I get Error Page - if I switch to other language and in address bar comes ...?lang=en (whatever LangID)

I ask kindly Boonex to find a patch for it. I can not myself.

Probably, I have a feeling, that this problem can be fixed in .thaccess with RewriteRule... Somehow..

RewriteRule ^langs/{0,1}$   index.php?lang=en [QSA,L]  --- this way? Can anyone?
