License Install

Can a fairly "newbie" ask a 'dumb' question...

Where/How can I put in the License number into an install to remove ads, please?

 logg out from admin and login again it will ask for the License.

 this would only be true if:

the free license was not applied

if the free license number has been removed from admin --> settings --> advanced settings --> variables

if the cache has been cleaned on the dolphin directories
