License not taking the Boonex Ad off my site

Hi,

I registered for a 400 day license and followed all the instructions in this thread:

and the BoonEx ads are still on my site. What am I doing wrong?

try clearing your cache from your host control panel.. make sure  to leave the htaccess file.

usually works. if i can do it anyone can..

thanks for your help! I cleared the cashes in the booex admin and in the hosting cpanel still no luck. what else can I try?

ISSUE SOLVED.

Here are the best instrutions:

go to Settings>Advanced Settings>Variables and remove the license code and save.
Clear all cashes on D7 and in the C-Panel.

Log out.
Now log back in from the back door, not the front door. 
Go to http://yoursite.com/administration
Log in. It should prompt for your code. Enter it there.

NOTE:

You must have allow_url_fopen enabled on your server, which will allow the script to phone home and register with the license. If this is not enabled, you must enable it. If you are on a web hosting package, and your web hosting company does not allow this option to be enabled, your only other option is to switch web hosting companies, or switch to a virtual private or dedicated server.
