Thankfully, I know better than to upgrade a live site like some have. How is it possible that an upgrade can cause so many problems?
As I read about the upgrade experiences from the past 7.03 is par for the course. More bugs are created with the upgrades then they "fix".
This is the most scatter brained upgrade and software I've ever seen. There are psychological terms for crap upgrades and buggy cores. Schizophrenic. You can summarize Boonex software as schizophrenic.
Andrew Boone - you need to take a lesson and learn from a company called Intelliants (intelliants.com). They offer open source directory, publishing and affiliate software. It is a group of about 6 guys working THREE different programs. They get bugs fixed and add the fixes to the core. They respond personally to their tech requests. Their ticket and support is superb.
Andrew, you guys are so scattered that you can't keep track of anything and your upgrades are a mess. I've worked with Intelliants software for years and I am NEVER afraid to upgrade. What is wrong with Boonex? Because of your Agent system and all of the needed Mods that you don't add to the core, I've spent too much time and money to upgrade my site to a new version of Crap. It has taken 5 months to get our site to where we want it and it works great.
Doesn't Boonex test their products?
What does it matter if they test. They get money from the licenses, they get money to participate as Advanced in this forum and market, they get money putting out Modules you have to pay for instead of fixes to the core. Then they release fixes that create additional problems requiring more paid work.
This is ridiculous.
