Links not working (javascript/flash)

In my admin when I go to Modules, Ads, then try to manage categories, the link does not work.  It's like this all across the site.

  • When I go to my profile and try to update my status, I cannot click in that box.
  • When I try to upload photos, there is no flash uploader and the drop down o change the uploader doesn't do anything.
  • The avatars are not clickable...
  • the list goes on.

lash is enabled on my browser and so is javascripting so I am not sure why these things are not working. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Hello!

Pls specify - do u see JS errors messages in ur browser? Try to use several of them for checking. May be it is from the same side of "corrupted files" which u have - may be JS files contain wrong code too.

Regards

One of those javascript errors shows jquery is undefined. Without jquery half your site will not work.

Either your web browser/computer is running a seriously out dated version of java, or some of the files on your website are damaged.

First go to http://java.com and make sure you are running the latest version of java.

If that does not work then try uploading the plugins folder from your origional dolphin zip file to the server again.

Something is seriously broken.

Well I checked the demo and it works fine on this PC.  So it's not the Java installation.  I uploaded some files again and double checked the permissions on folders per the install.txt.  After that I started getting fatal errors.

So now I am uploading the entire package AGAIN. I think something is wrong with the files in the install package. It should not be this complicated.

If anyone is having similar issues with links not working

this is what happed to me.

check your template/base/_header.html

around line 4 or 5 should look something like this

<base href="<bx_url_root />" />

make sure that is in there or you wont have any links on any of your pages.

I change it by mistake and went crazy looking for the issue until I remember that. Laughing

hope it helps anyone.

I have this same issue, the host tmdhosting has replied that it is not an install issue but this is the exact same error fresh after their install.  If it is not the install what is it?
