Links page

Couple of quickies guys...

1. Isn't there an external 'links page' in D7, and if there is...where is it? Smile

2. Anyone using an external photo gallery with D7, such as 'Gallery' that comes with cpanel? - and if so, what's the best way to implement it?

thanks in advance,

Two questions:

Exactly what do you mean by 'external links page'   Are you talking about the 'Sites' module?

The best way to implement an external photo gallery would be to hire a coder and pay them lots of money to integrate it.  What's wrong with the standard issue photo gallery in D7?

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Hi houstonlively,

thanks for reply, not sure what the sites module does?... but thinking about a text link in the footer, i.e  'Links' where I can add links to external sites.

I'm looking to upload maybe 100's of photos in one session to a gallery and with an integrated shopping cart so members can buy/sell photo's.

Just wondering if it would be easier to have an external link to the Gallery, hosted outside of the D7 root....does the 'sites' module do a similar thing?

many thanks,

Sky'

The sites module allows members to add their favorite sites to your website. It basically displays them like a "ad" where people can go look at the description and visit the site if they choose.

As for your footer link questions:

Thanks guys,

'sites' module works just as well as a link would, if not better. Smile

Just linking to an external gallery for the moment until I can find an integrated solution.
