Resize as in how?

It's matching the width of the column as it is suppose to. You have your entire page set to a huge 1400px width.

You can't just make on block in a column smaller then the rest of the column. Explain what it is your looking to do.

You might want to try setting the page size back down to 1140px like my site. http://www2.deanbassett.com/ then the block will be smaller.

Hello everyone.

Have a great weekend and God Bless you all.

My site and pages are for educational purpose and I use a lot of graphic & tables to layout my lessons, that is why my page width is 1400pixs

It is not a big deal and I can live with the giant login box.

As long as your users are using wide monitors so they don't have to scroll back and forth horizontally all the time then the wide width is not an issue.  If they don't, I think I would reconsider how to best present my materials.

Having said that, if the login box is using the default design boxes, then what you need to do is to create a new design box for the login box and then set the width; either in the design box code or in the style sheet, to a fixed width.  You can set the design box in the database or use one of the tools in the market place (there is even a free tool listed).
