Login/join buttons

I would like to make the login / Join buttons on the index page smaller (the ones beside "Welcome to the community") I found the CCS to make the writing smaller but would like to know how to make the images smaller as well. Could someone let me know where I would find this.

You need to change the background graphic, too.  Look at which graphic is used as the background in the CSS entries you found.

Does anyone know where & how to change the URL address on the Join button (next to the Welcome To The Community on index promo photo)

Thanks, i just disable cache in the admin and the result is good, it s the jsut the probleme that i've haved..
