Login redirect> .swf

Does anyone know how I might be able to play a .swf at login just before going to my homepage?

tremendously bad idea. one of the biggest turn-offs i have ever seen implemented on websites, is forced viewing of some lame video. but what you are referring to is a landing page or intro page. which would load prior to loading .index.php so you would create an index.html or index.htm set your source on that page and set the video to auto-start.

We have a "Pease Wait" at login....If I truly had it the way I want it, instead of that please wait, it would display the cool intro- "welcome to mysite" swf I just made. I don't see the difference, considering the lameness of "Please Wait" My intro is quick and flashy. Can "Please Wait" be replaced by this?

BTW- I want it to quickly fly by and immediately continue on to the index.php I guess that would be the process anyway.

The "please wait" and all the standard messages can be changed to make them more personal or friendly.
