Logo wont center on random pages

The logo on my site wont center itself. I have changed the .mainlogo rule in general.css so it has a margin-left of -22px. This has fixed the problem for some pages but half of them need -44px  left margin to center the logo.

In firebug the class sys_ml has two different element.styles one 998px and 955px on different pages. On the 998px pages the logo centers at -22px but the 955px pages need the -44px. There is no other difference to the css on both types of page.

In a moment of brilliance I can vaguely remember changing sys_ml (or something somewhere?!)  to 998px  - perhaps.

I cant find what controls this beast!

You can either revert all pages to a width of 998px, which can be done through Deanos Tools, or use text-align: center; instead of margin-left.
