Looking for members

Hi Everyone,

My site is complete and I am looking for members. I would like for my site so show some activity for new members.  I would appreciate it if anyone on here would join and create profiles so that it looks like activity until it catches on.  Would any of you mind posting profiles on my site please?

I think that asking for test members here is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.  I recently started a group where the emphasis is intended to be on helping sites be more successful - and getting startup and test members is one of the things I would like to do there.  It is still tiny but contact me if interested.

You might want to make a post in the websites section for your site.

Try promoting your site through Craigslist or just do a paid advertising through Facebook ( I can help you with that). You will be surprise how many members you will get in a few days with paid ads.

How about some kind of reason to join? You have zero things for me to do,watch or read there, and I have to join to do anything????

ok, first thing you do is to get all your friends (I am sure you have friends that owe you) then like everyone here I am sure you have ten e-mails. I have about 20 myself, just so that I can have 6 junk e-mails. create profiles there as test profiles or real, your choice. Drop a flyer or two at the super market and for sure the laundry mat! (big seller there)

And yes use face book! build a web page for your site, and invite about ten a day to the page! any more than that and they will block you for 2 days!

Just get creative, and dont stop! if this is going to be a business and not a hobby, (like a lot of ours have become)

You have to spend hours everyday sending e-mails and such just to get a member or two, and yes as stated above, leave your Blogs open, and you will be found by the china spammers before google will!  hehehe!

You will really have to promote this by yourself, like mentioned before go to super markets etc.. create flyers where they can tear off the bottom peace and post them in beauty salons and other venues. But I still think your best bet is facebook paid ads you will be surprise
